May 24, 2007: One of the Happiest Moment

As I was watering the flowers on my balcony,
the sun dropped and lay like a great golden globe in the low west.
It faded like the spreading of a peacock’s tail.
How I wish I could be a little girl again.
~
I first took this photo before being warned of battery running low.
I have to stop and re-charged the battery.
.
.
After about 10 minutes I was ready for another shoot
(I also disabled the date setting).
While positioning the camera all of a sudden I saw a bird flying across!
.
.
And more birds joining ..... Ohhhh, my day is perfect!
.
.
I was trying hard to capture the birds and not to lose the sunset setting.
.
.
Is there anything more beautiful than a bird flying accross
infront of a beautiful sunset?
.
.
The bird is carrying a beautiful rose in his beak .....
.
.
A beautiful painting in his feet .....
.
.
The birds are all gone now .... maybe they have found their way home.
I am alone, watching the changing colors of the sky ....
.

I venerate old age; and I love not the man

who can look without emotion upon the sunset of life,

when the dusk of evening begins to gather over the watery eye,

and the shadows of twilight grow broader and deeper upon the understanding.

(Henry Wadsworth Longfellow)
