April 21, 2007: Thinking of You

I've learned that good-byes will always hurt,
pictures will never replace having been there,
memories good and bad will bring tears,
and words can never replace feelings.

April 20, 2007: I Miss You .....

Distance never seperates two hearts that really care,
for our memories span the miles and in seconds we are there.
But whenever I start feeling sad cuz I miss you
I remind myself how lucky I am to have someone so special to miss.

~ I ALREADY MISS YOU HOWARD CLARK! ~

April 19, 2007: Tioman Island ....

Hi everyone,

We are back from Tioman Island! Happy .... and also tired. Herb is already asleep .

Just sharing with you few pictures of Herb and I climbing the rock near the resort.

This picture was taken from the jetty of our resort. You can see few chalets, but ours - called the "Tree Top" chalet is somewhere behind the tree. Can you see two rocks on the far left of the picture? Those are the rocks that we climbed on the 4th day of our stay in Japamala Resort, Tioman Island.

Picture of the highest rock.

Breathtaking view from the top!!!

H busy with his camera. At the back is the jetty to our resort.

The winning team! Hehehe ......

Good night everyone! I am off to lala-land now .....

April 13, 2007: The Tongue

All acts of living become bad by ten things, and by avoiding the ten things they become good. There are: 3 evils of the body, 4 evils of the tongue, and 3 evils of the mind. (Buddha)

There is no evidence that the tongue is connected to the brain. (Frank Tyger)

Note: This 'guy' possed for Herb - on our way up to Fraser's Hill.

Nature has given us two ears, two eyes, and but one tongue-to the end that we should hear and see more than we speak. (Socrates)

Note: Herb at Mamak restaurant, shortly after we arrived in Penang.

At table keep a short hand; in company keep a short tongue. (Turkish proverb)

Note: On the way to Jeriau Waterfall, Fraser's Hill.

April 09, 2007: The Story continues - Kulim (Kedah) and Penang Island

Hi everyone,

Sorry for being away for quite sometimes.

My holiday with H started last week 31st March. We drove back to Kulim (my hometown) on morning of 31st March. Followed by picnic at Sedim River on Sunday 1st April then overnight at my sister's house in Bikan. This was where the 'war' begun between H and the mosquitoes! H also found a new girlfriend here, name 'Farah Dania' We baked 'lemang' (the traditional way of cooking glutinous rice in a bambo) at my sister's house while my sister cooked a delicious chicken curry and 'laksa' (rice noodle).

The following day, 3rd April we shoot off to Penang Island (Pulau Pinang) and stay at The Blue Mansion until 5th April. Lots of walking, shopping (window shopping actually ) and food testing in Penang. We bought red 'cheongsam' (Chinese traditional clothes) - which you might be able to see us possing ... hehehe. We also visited Fort Cornwallis and the Light House before took a train ride to Penang Hill on the last day.

You'll see more pictures of places that I have mentioned above once H upload his pictures. Until then please enjoy pictures that I've captured on my camera.

Love - Larra
