Aromatherapy oil

Uses of Peppermint Essential Oil

Peppermint is best known treating digestive upsets and also has good actions on the stomach, intestines and on the liver.

It is very good for it’s power on ailments such as diarrhoea, indigestion, collie, vomiting and stomach pain because it has antispasmodic action, which eases muscles in the stomach and gut.

Peppermint is also a good treatment when you have a cold or flu, and also for helping clear sinuses, nasal passages.

Peppermint is also good for headaches, usually when used in conjunction with lavender. One of the reasons for this is that peppermint acts as a stimulant and lavender acts as a sedative, this combination of sedative and stimulant can be found in many painkillers such as aspirin etc

Peppermint and lavender do not act like other painkillers, as they do not just suppress the pain, but also work on the symptoms. Peppermint also has a cooling effect and can also induce sweating, both of which can help if suffering from colds and flu.

Peppermint essential oil is also very good at stimulating the brain, in can leave you feeling mentally fresh and ready to face almost any challenge

Peppermint has also been used, as an emergency treatment for shock.

Peppermint essential oil can also be used as a natural form of deterrent against vermin as they dislike the strong smell of peppermint. Peppermint essential oil used in areas where mice, rats, cockroaches or ants have been, will usually deter them from coming back.

Suggested Uses of Peppermint Essential Oil

A good way of using peppermint essential oil is to massage the stomach and abdomen in a clockwise direction using a well-diluted mix of peppermint essential oil with a base oil. This is especially good for ailments such as diarrhoea, indigestion, collie, vomiting and stomach pain.

Used as a cold compress peppermint works very effectively on headaches.

Put just a few drops of peppermint essential oil on a tissue, to help relieve nausea.

Peppermint blends well with benzoin , rosemary.

Warning

Do not apply to the skin undiluted or before sleep and store well away from homoeopathic remedies, as peppermint has been known to antidote them.

"Why Do I Love" You, Sir?

P5041762

"Why do I love" You, Sir?
Because --
The Wind does not require the Grass
To answer -- Wherefore when He pass
She cannot keep Her place.

Because He knows -- and
Do not You --
And We know not --
Enough for Us
The Wisdom it be so --

The Lightning -- never asked an Eye
Wherefore it shut -- when He was by --
Because He knows it cannot speak --
And reasons not contained --
-- Of Talk --
There be -- preferred by Daintier Folk --

The Sunrise -- Sire -- compelleth Me --
Because He's Sunrise -- and I see --
Therefore -- Then --
I love Thee --
.

why ponder thus the future to foresee,

and jade thy brain to vain perplexity?

cast off thy care, leave Allah's plan to him -

He formed them all without consulting thee.

Things undone ....

P4260743

Besides the noble art of getting things done, there is the noble art of leaving things undone. The wisdom of life consists in the elimination of non-essentials.
