I prefer the 'original' tulip. I don't quite like the dwarf tulip or the multi-color/dwi-color tulip. I love looking at the big single color tulip .... I may sound conventional .
During recent holiday in Spain, we encountered quite a number of places where there are beautiful blooming tulips - and it was the type that I like! 
Here are some of the pictures that I would like to share with you. To some of you it may be nothing new, but to me ... It made my day. LOL
So, don't be surprise if you see me having 'fun' taking picture of tulips :

Eventhough we're stranded at Bilbao, at least that city has pretty tulips for my camera.
Look closely and you will spot the sparrow! :)
We spotted a rows of big tulips while driving to leave Gijon and we end up looking for parking!
The same color tulips were spotted on the roadside in Ribadesella.
, only managed to sleep at 4 am (local time) and woke up at 5.30 to get ready to work
